“First off, I would like to say that when I was a little kid, my mom, dad, mawmaw, and pawpaw all separately told me that I used to talk to people who weren’t there. And it was always the same little boy. I never changed people I talked to and I would apparently have very animated conversations with him. Throughout my childhood, I would hear voices and feel people touching my shoulders when no one was around. So in other words, I have had these experiences my whole life.
In my senior year of high school, I lived at my grandmother’s house in Attalla, Alabama, along with my grandpaw. I was watching TV one night at about 10 o’clock or so. To my left was the door to the kitchen, which was the only way out of that part of the house. To the right was a wall with two candles in brackets that were held snugly in place by rubber stoppers and surrounded by glass casings. Randomly, one of the candles lifted out of the bracket, casing and all, moved out about a foot and a half and dropped the five and a half feet to the ground. The casing never broke and the candle never came out. It just stopped where it dropped and didn’t move. I left and went to bed… quickly.
The next morning, I asked my grandmother if she had ever had anything like that happen or why it would happen. She told me of a lady named Mrs. Seaboat that had committed suicide before they bought the house.
After graduation, I moved to Prattville, Alabama with my girlfriend of a few years and her parents so I could go to college and not drive hours away to get home. The first few months were fine, until I saw a woman standing in the bathroom, watching me use it. I just saw her out of the corner of my eye and when I looked at her she slowly vanished. I freaked. I quickly left that room too. When I walked back into the living room, my girlfriend’s mom asked what was wrong. I told her what had happened and described the woman. Her mom’s face turned white and said she’d be right back. She brought back a picture of the lady in the bathroom. It was her mom, who had died eleven years previously.”
