Ghost Photo of the Day: Waverly Hills Wanderer

ghost picture waverly hills

Perched on a hill in Louisville, KY, the Waverly Hills Sanatorium is known for its history of illness, death, and of course, ghosts. The photo above, taken in 2006, reportedly shows the wandering spirit of Mary Lee, a former patient at the facility. What do you think of the startling image?

  2. If this photo is real, she was probably a patient for being a nympho or just a very sensual or provocative person which would have been very taboo in those days, if that is truly her ghost look at that come hither look and it’s as if she’s actually posing, it’s as if she’s trying to tempt the person photographing, too bad he couldn’t physically see her. I wonder if ghosts try to tempt people all the time but it’s just we can’t see them, which is why dreams would be their playground. That would mean that ghosts dream too, mind blowing lol.

  3. that could be mary lee but im not sure cause her hair is not that long but it could be her we will never know. i know its a real pic

  4. I’m no expert, but do spirits have hair and do they walk on legs? I mean, aren’t those physical qualities and spiritual qualities? Seems to me floating would be easier. Just something I’ve always wondered about. The head doesn’t really look like it goes on the body. I dunno, but I’m pretty skeptical.
