“I woke up one night to see a dog with red eyes looking at me. He wasn’t growling or anything, just staring. I glared and went to sleep only to hear ‘Wake up! I’m home. It’s your time to work.’ I didn’t know what it meant so I got up and went into the kitchen and made tea for myself.
The next week I heard screaming and fighting and the growling of a dog. I walked into the hall and saw the same dog snarling and growling in my grandma’s bedroom. I didn’t think anything of it so I shut her door and walked into my room. I kind of just don’t mind him anymore. The dog is always with me. I gave up telling him to leave.
Last night things freaked me out. The dog was snarling and my kitten was hissing. I looked at the front of my bed which is right in front of my light and window and saw the shadow of a man standing there! He looked so real. His eyes were black and he stood strong and mature but looked so young. I shushed the dog and cat and kept watching the man. The dog stopped growling and left.
For some reason, I do not fear this dog or man. They don’t seem to be evil or mean any harm. The dog is always near me. I can’t seem to lose him, but now I don’t think I want to. He’s become a friend, as crazy as it sounds. His eyes don’t scare me, and I don’t push him away anymore. Right now, he is on the end of the bed and the cat is at head of bed. They seem fine with it. I will not disturb what seems fine.”
