Paranormal WitnessLove a good ghost story? Syfy’s new show, Paranormal Witness, offers viewers chills and thrills with creepy tales of hauntings, poltergeists, possessions, and more.

Similar to Discovery Channel’s A Haunting or Animal Planet’s The Haunted, Paranormal Witness features eyewitness testimony as well as dramatic re-enactments of creepy events. The debut episode, “Emily the Imaginary Friend/The Girl With No Face” is the tale of two families, one whose daughter allegedly befriended a malevolent spirit named Emily and another who saw a faceless specter on the side of the highway. Airing September 14, this week’s episode features a UFO and a mysterious disappearance on a California road.

Though the show is far from scientific and unlikely to appeal to skeptics, Paranormal Witness is good for those who can suspend their disbelief and enjoy a good creepy story.

Paranormal Witness airs Wednesdays at 10/9c. Don’t have a cable (like me?) Watch full episodes on Syfy.com.
