As I’ve mentioned before, the r/ghosts and r/paranormal sections of Reddit.com are great places to share stories and connect with fellow ghost lovers. Many of the photos I’ve featured on Ghosts and Ghouls first appeared on Reddit. If you haven’t checked out the niche communities, they’re definitely worth a look.

Kitchen Face - “My friend took this picture of his cousin in their new house. He says it was just the two of them there but that’s not what it looks like.”

The Figure by the Window – “Received this picture from a friend whose roommate has suspected the house she lived in with her ex-husband was haunted. Strange things would happen downstairs, but nothing that left them feeling they were in danger. Her ex sent her this picture. What is the shadow in the right?”

Elementary School Ghost – “My friend was walking with a few friends and one of them said they saw someone in the school. Rather than approach (considering it was 10 pm) My friend just took a picture to show the police. An officer told her the building was vacant and the alarms were on.”

Shadow Person – “Guy at work took a picture of his daughter and this came up.”

Wedding Witch – “This photo was taken at a wedding by a friend of a colleague. The wedding party was held at an old farm in Norway famous for being the former home of M. Munthe (a children’s book author). There was no one present at the wedding wearing black.”

Woman in the Window – “We’ve been searching for a new house. I snapped this picture of the back of one..middle right window. What do you guys think?”

Used Cell Phone Pics – “Got a used cell phone from a thrift shop and found these photos on there what the hell did this phone see?”

Renovation Ghost – “Was renovating my house and i took a picture to show what I had done and there was a ghostly image that came out.”

The Solway Firth Photo – Does an alien in a silver spacesuit appear in this famous photo taken in the 1960s?

Door Ghost – “My friend has been claiming for months that her house is haunted. Her husband took this pic a few days ago.”

Asylum Photo - “2004: The Illinois Asylum for the Incurable Insane. Some interesting things showed up in my photos. Was supposed to be a picture at the same angle as the one above – that’s not a fence, and there were no light sources nearby.”

Man in the Woods – “A friend of a friend was going through his photos from last year’s hunting season and found this pic. He says the trail cam is activated by movement yet there were no pics of the entity anywhere else except in this photo. ”

Apparition – “My friend sent me this picture she took of her little cousin.”

Stanley Hotel Spirit - “Not in Savannah but a little bit more well known. This is a picture taken at The Stanley Hotel where Stephen King wrote and based The Shinning off of.”

Asylum Ghost? - “Can somebody look at this pic, and tell me if they see a man with his arms folded in the centre? Its an old pic of an old abandoned mental institution near my house. Pic was taken in 1998.”

Fallout Shelter Ghost - “My friend went into my school’s fallout shelter (It was built in the 50s) to get something for the thespian club (they use it for storage). We noticed the upper torso of a girl poking out of the ground in the middle, a little to the left. Any ideas as to what it is?”

Cemetery Ghost – “Ghost in San Diego Old Town cemetery about 10 pm just the wife and I were the only ones there……see it?”
