Celebrity Ghost Encounters: Miley Cyrus and the Shower Spook

As 2013 draws to a close, I thought it would be fun to review this year’s celebrity ghost encounters. Here’s one from everyone’s favorite twerker – Miley Cyrus.

In May, Miley shared her spooky experience with Elle UK. It seems Cyrus rented a London flat during her 2009 European Tour, but she and her family weren’t alone.

The historic flat sits across from Harrods department store and was once the site of a family-owned bakery. Things were normal enough at first, though Miley reports having crazy nightmares. However, one night something came after her sister.

“My little sister was standing in the shower and all of a sudden I hear her scream,” Cyrus said. “I run in there and the water had somehow flipped to hot but it was still… It wasn’t like the water had just changed, the knob had turned but she hadn’t turned it and it was burning her. She was really red.”

The water incident wasn’t the only spooky thing to happen in the shower. Miley also saw a spirit peeping in on her while she bathed. Twice!

“I thought I had seen a little boy sitting on the sink watching me take a shower so I felt really freaked out,” she said. “I was sitting there the next night and maybe I’m crazy, but I could have sworn I could see this little boy sitting there on the sink, kicking his feet.”

Miley is no stranger to the paranormal. Cyrus once stayed in Savannah, GA’s infamously haunted 17Hundred90 Inn, Room 204 and believes Anna, the room’s resident ghost, left a hand print on her boot.
