Am I the only one who thinks the floating face looks too real to be true?
i have heard ppl saying that they don’t believe in ghosts and i didnt believe in ghosts either but now after seeing the pics im now a true believer
Ghosts used to wear shrouds and were solid, then with the advent of photography and double exposures they became see through. Now, with everyone having digital cameras, and flash bouncing off dust, they are orbs. Tells you what you need to know. Long night exposure leads to blurry figures, that of course become “ghosts”
Spot on ha. People go out hunting for something, and out of desperation find something.
That doesn’t mean I don’t believe in ghosts/spirits/demons because I do, just most of the pics/vids that I look at are doubtful at best, especially when you know even the smallest amount about lighting and image capture

My daughter took a picture on a regular basic phone back in 2008. In this picture, was a little girl. My daughter was home alone and she was taking a ‘selfie’ with our dog. Our dog was turning its head, looking down. She was looking down at what appeared to be a little girl in the picture. This was not a camera fluke or a glare and was in a small bathroom with no windows and nothing behind her where this girl appeared (but a door). A month or so later she was in a car accident where she almost died. She spent two months away from home, and 2 years to recover. Things like this make you wonder, however, I do believe in spirits without a doubt.

Then when I saw the second Willard Library photo of the children’s section of the library, I thought that whatever that thing crawling across the floor is, it looks like it might be the same thing that is on the top of the bookshelves in the first photo…
Great pictures. Enjoyed the site. Thanks.

i believe most of pics are true
Hello most people are non believers i took a photo last Month of myself around 4am5am 6am ish early hours of morning as i have trouble sleeping, I had my light on and my cousin face appeared in the photo behind my head ,she had taken her life back in December last year she was 21 i am 27 and have taken five overdoses trying to take my life since and am about to take me now in the Last one i could feel my heart going s!Kerr feeling heavier and my breathing slow after that feel into a deep sleep I have long term depression and anxiety I’ve suffered for years and medication is only thing my GP gives me I believe in it as ive seen it for myself we all die one day we all turn into spirits and that’s it
I don’t care if anyone don’t believe me but my cousin committed suicide last December after a long history of mental illness and depression and had been in a coma as well previously I took this photo a month ago around 4-6am in the morning i cant remember exactly I had my light on and took a photo and her face appeared in the background behind my head next to the CD player I have also tried to take my life five times and i am about to attempt it again as i have long term depression and anxiety i get hardly any help from my GP they tried to section me but said I was just depressed
Please don’t. There is help available; your physician sounds like he needs sectioned for being incompetent. Are you in the U.K.? Your cousin may be trying to show you that this is not the way?
Well do you wanna leave your with so much hurt grief and pain? I mean seriously think about it
Given a 35mm camera and a tripod, I could successfully recreate half these photos. With sufficient time, I could probably knock out a quarter of the remainder with just a few tricks and SWEARING no one else was there, etc. As much as I want to believe there are ghosts, I just don’t have enough evidence.
Problem with your theory is that many of the pictures weren’t TAKEN with a 35mm camera, and double exposures, even with OLD cameras are NOT easy to do since once a picture is taken you can’t click the shutter again until you advanced the film. Also, even 20 or 30 years ago, once you finished a roll of film you took it to the drug store, they sent it off to be developed and you got it back in about a week! That changed with the one hour photo booths, but all they do, even today is stick the film in a machine! Photo shop wasn’t around back then, and even today it takes someone with skills to make the picture look half way realistic. I got some interesting pic’s on a tour of haunted Charleston SC, with a brand new $35.00 camera from Target. While in the grave yard, the batteries would drain almost as fast as I could put them in, and I got dancing lights, orbs and foggy looking “faces”. Once OUTSIDE the graveyard, the camera behaved itself.
The one in the hospital monitor, that creeps me out and stayed with me more than any of these pictures. Its different, thats not a ghost, that some creature or devil of some shit.
Of course that’s why it scared you. You might not believe in ghosts but you believe in a literal devil so it resonates. I, a LaVeyan Satanist on the other hand, saw that picture and was quite amused. The amusement stuck with me and reading your comment amused me further.
The book is The House of Seven Gables by Nathaniel Hawthorn NOT the Boy at the House …. idiots
Hi, Pamela. Thanks for your insightful critique. However, The Boy at the House of Seven Gables is the name of the blog post. It wasn’t supposed to be the name of the book.
