Ghost Photo: Witch of the Ward House

George Corwin was sheriff of Salem during the infamous witch trials and a man who sent many accused witches to their death. One of the accused was a man named Giles Corey who was pressed to death beneath a pile of stones and reportedly cursed George with his last agonized breath.

Today, the Joshua Ward House stands where Corwin’s home once did and is reportedly haunted by witches (or the men and women he accused). A real estate allegedly agent took this photo while preparing the home for a listing. Does it show a ghostly witch?

  1. Not really…looks like a fuzzy, old bad picture of Diana Ross to me. Back then women usually had their hair covered with bonnets and such. Don’t think any of them had wild Afros like that.
