I am the owner of The Anguished Man. The activity has definitely not died down but I have had so much upheaval in my life that I haven’t been able to record anything. It is not a hoax – Sean

Why is the painting so special?

In reply to that, artists put their heart and soul into their artwork.

All people infuse their will into their work, so residual energy causing things to happen or even binding a spirit to the art is bound to happen at least sometimes.

And if this guy really did mix his blood with the paint, that would make it worse.

Granted, some people draw sigils and other magick symbols with their own blood. And I’m sure at least a few of them will say “I take precautions” or “the magick doesn’t work that way” or “I knew someone who did that before they passed and no supernatural activity,” point is, at least sometimes it happens.
