This creepy photo was taken at the Pride House in Jefferson, Texas. Billed as the first bed and breakfast in the Lone Star State, the Pride House has a reputation for being haunted and is popular among  paranormal investigation groups. The TV show Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files investigated the home in earlier this year and recorded a few strange events, including a door that opened by itself, disembodied whistling, and a thermal hand print that appeared in an empty room. This photo taken at Scotland’s Tantallon Castle, reportedly shows a ghost peering from a barred window. According to The Telegraph, three photographic experts  examined the photo and found no signs of trickery. Operators of Tantallon Castle also claim there were no mannequins or costumed guides inside the castle (reminds me of the circumstances of the Hampton Court Palace ghost). What do you think?

This famous photo from 1959 shows an old woman sitting in the backseat of a car. However, the woman wasn’t there when her daughter snapped the picture. The daughter, Mrs. Mabel Chinnery, had taken her husband to visit her mother’s grave and it seems mom didn’t want to be left behind.

A photographer in Galway, Ireland captured what he believes is the ghost of a 19th century nun at a historic area known as the Long Walk.

“The image was not visible either before or after the photograph was taken and was not captured in any of the other photographs,” Jonathan Curran told the Galway Independent. “She just seemed to appear for a moment and disappear.”
