Ghost Photo of the Day: Museum Thing

creepy photo museum

This photo from Reddit.com may not be paranormal, but it’s definitely creepy. According to the OP, the thing in the background appeared in a photo taken at the Fort Worth Museum in Fort Worth, TX. He doesn’t remember anyone wearing a poncho or shawl and claims no adults were in the play area. Check out the discussion here. What do you think of the image?

Ghost Photo of the Day: Myrtles Mirror Ghost

ghost pic myrtles plantation

Here’s another eerie pic from the infamous Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, LA. A reader writes:

“In November 2012, I visited the Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville and snapped a picture of a mirror next to a staircase in the house.

If you look closely, there’s a series of smudges in the mirror that very closely resemble a woman’s face. The smudges were present on the mirror when I took the picture, but when I looked back at the picture later the next day, the face became very apparent to me. Now I can’t unsee it.

What’s your opinion? This was taken with my iPhone, with no outside light and no editing.”

The antique mirror has quite the reputation. Legend has it a slave named Chloe poisoned her master’s wife and daughters and that the murdered family now appears in the mirror’s glass. Some say the tortured souls also leave hand prints that no amount of cleaning can remove.

Do you see a face in the photo posted above? The face (or smudges/warps) in the glass also appear in this picture.

Ghost Photo of the Day: Unexpected Guest

ghost reflection

A reader recently submitted this photo. He writes:

“My daughter was taking a picture of the holiday spread, her reflection is the one on the left. The image on the right shows someone sitting in the chair but you can see the chair is pushed in. Everyone else is sitting in the living room.

My wife got a premonition of someone dying in the house when we were looking at buying the place. Went out to garage and found hospital bed. Then the realtor found out later that the owner’s wife had passed away in the house.”

So what does everyone think?

Ghost Photo of the Day: Pride House Phantom

ghost photo

This photo comes from the Pride House in Jefferson, TX. A reader writes:

“This photo was taken when no one was inside the house. The photo was taken right before we went inside to look at it. We were on the ghost walk.  On this particular night they were telling us the story of the Pride House and letting us go inside to see if we could ‘catch’ anything.

We have many other photos that were taken there. We did not see originally see anything until we got home and were looking at the photos. We have the original photo, but I zoomed in and put the arrow on it so you could see it better. We have some people that say they can see it and some that say they can not…”

Billed as the first bed and breakfast in the Lone Star State, the Pride House was 125 years old. A fire unfortunately destroyed the historic building on August 28, 2013.
