Ghost Photo: Lady at the Window

ghost picture

Does this photo show a ghostly woman at the window of an English home?

A group of young people in Wem, England (home of the famous fire girl) claim to have caught a ghost on camera. The home behind them was under construction, but they have no explanation for the whitish figure in the upper right.

“I truly believe there is a ghost woman and her baby in that window,” Natasha Oliver, 22, told ABC News. “When we saw the ghostly figure, the boys climbed up the scaffolding to see what was up there thinking maybe someone was watching us. But there was nothing up there. There were no floorboards or anything there. The house wasn’t finished being built yet at the time.”

First Underwater Ghost Photo?

ghost photo diver

Does this photo, taken by an underwater paranormal investigation team, show the ghost of a drowned diver?

“This is an image of a diver’s face mask frame, taken at 130 feet in a flooded underground cavern shaft,” Paranormal Divers reports.

“There was no diver present in the deep portion of the cavern during the time of this shot. Our photographer took the frame in sequence after the team heard screaming coming from below. We panned deeply and shot the black water and the source of the screaming voice…which was the EXACT site of a diver death.

This is the real thing. To our knowledge, the first underwater ghost photo ever taken in history.”

Ghost Photo: The Man on the Wall

ghost-photo

Last year, The Atlantic published “Why Do People Believe in Ghosts?”, an article exploring paranormal beliefs around the world. In it, author Tiffanie Wen shares a strange she took with her iPhone (left).

“The picture was taken in my apartment and the man, whom I can’t identify, was not actually in the apartment at the time,” Wen writes.

Though Wen says she cannot explain the picture, skeptics say the mysterious ‘man’ in the background is a reflection of some kind or an image projected onto the wall.

Though odd, the image is not entirely unique. A similar photo emerged on Reddit.com. Note that both backgrounds appear white and featureless and that the ‘ghosts’ resemble the people in the photos (bald men, females with long hair).
