Ghost Photo: Cork City Jail

ghost cork city gaol ireland

Skidmore Photography snapped these photos at Ireland’s Cork City Jail (or Gaol). The photo on the left shows nothing, while the photo on the right, taken just seconds before, shows something very odd. Could it be a ghost? A ghostly woman in green allegedly haunts the Cork City Gaol, though details about the legend are scarce. What do you make of the photos?

Ghost Photo: Creepy Cajun

Originally featured on Paranormal360, this photo reportedly shows a ghost gazing out of the cabin window.  The cabin is part of Acadian Village, a tourist attraction dedicated to showcasing Cajun history in the 1800s. What do you think of the picture?

Ghost Photo: Real Ghost or Poster Child?

fake_ghost_photo

Last week, redbookmag.com posted this photo with the following explanation:

“Anastassia Perets was flipping through an old family album when she stumbled across a photo of herself taken when she was four years old (she’s the one in the spunky red pants). In the background, another child appears to be opening a door. Seems normal enough. But there was no little girl there—well, not living at least.”

While the magazine implies the blonde girl in the background is a ghost, critics aren’t so sure. Many point out that the blonde child appears oddly flat, as if she’s part of a poster or photo glued to the wall. Others point out that the child bears a striking resemblance to Poltergeist’s Carol Anne or a girl from a V.C. Andrew’s cover (Flowers in the Attic or My Sweet Audrina). What do you believe?

Ghost Photo: Haunted Swimming Hole

ghost in water

On November 22, 1913, a teenager named Doreen O’Sullivan drowned in an Australian swimming hole. At least one woman believes Doreen’s ghost appears in the photo above, taken in the same swimming hole last year.

“At the time of taking this photo there was nothing between us,” Kim Davison told a group called the Toowoomba Ghost Chasers. “I’m holding the little girl and that white head next to me with horns is not human, I can promise you that. Its fingers are on my shoulder and on my daughter’s arm. They are long skeletal type fingers.”

Davison also claims that something underwater twice grabbed her daughter’s leg on the day this photo was taken. A ghost? Or an overactive imagination?
