Reader Submission: Visits from Zozo?

“I don’t know if this is a ghost story because I technically don’t believe in ghosts, but here goes…

Let me start by saying that I do not have an opinion as to whether or not spirits exist. I am a Christian, and we do not own a Ouija board! We do, however, have the odd ability to predict events and very accurate intuition in various members of our family.

Last September we moved into a new home. Initially, both children refused to take one of the bedrooms for an unknown reason (they just didn’t want it). We gave it to our 3 (now 4)-year-old, thinking he’d put up less of a fight.

We settled in and shortly thereafter, our son refused to sleep in his room. We would find him in various places of the house, desperately claiming there were ‘monsters’ in his room. We initially thought this to be just a childish fear and brushed it off. The only odd thing I noticed was that both cats slept under the right window of his room. We put the letters ADAM above his dresser, and the next day my oldest showed me that the A had fallen and it now said DAM. We laughed.

Reader Submission: The Haunted Car

“This is a story of the very strange goings-on with my 1992 Cadillac Deville.

A few months ago, I’d finally saved enough money to buy myself a car after going two years without one. It wasn’t a lot of money, so I started my search on Craigslist. I would search Craigslist a few times a day trying to find something in my price range. After about a week and a half, I came across a 1992 Cadillac Deville that looked as if it just came off the production line. And the price on it blew my mind: $500 dollars OBO.

Ghost Photo: Haunted Swimming Hole

On November 22, 1913, a teenager named Doreen O’Sullivan drowned in an Australian swimming hole. At least one woman believes Doreen’s ghost appears in the photo above, taken in the same swimming hole last year.

“At the time of taking this photo there was nothing between us,” Kim Davison told a group called the Toowoomba Ghost Chasers. “I’m holding the little girl and that white head next to me with horns is not human, I can promise you that. Its fingers are on my shoulder and on my daughter’s arm. They are long skeletal type fingers.”

Davison also claims that something underwater twice grabbed her daughter’s leg on the day this photo was taken. A ghost? Or an overactive imagination?

Reader Submission: The Man in the Mirror

“I was just a little girl, about eight, when my mother and I went to a shabby motel for the night. As my mother talked to the clerk, I felt as if someone, or something, was staring at me. I walked away from the two adults and looked up at  a rather large mirror held up high on the wall.

There, I saw my mother’s boyfriend. He looked down at me with an odd, but cold, look in his gray eyes. He looked very sad for some reason, but when I blinked, he was gone. Seeing him didn’t scare me, but it did surprise me.

Four weeks after seeing his image in the mirror, my mother told told me that her ex-boyfriend had died.”
