A member of a ghost tour took this photo at Clearwater’s Belleview Biltmore Hotel around seven years ago. The hotel has since closed, but formers guests and staff spun tales of an anguished bride who committed suicide (ah yes, the hysterical woman trope) and a rich young woman who lost her perfect pearl necklace. Both are said to haunt the historic hotel. Disembodied moans, sighs, and dysfunctional elevators also plagued the resort.
