A report in The News-Messenger claims a ghost hunting group captured this photo of a “hooded figure” at the Sandusky County Jail in Fremont, Ohio. Officials wonder if it’s the ghost of a former executioner. Do you think they’re dead on or dead wrong?

Here’s a new pic from Reddit.com’s paranormal community. First, the background story:
“This photo was taken at a wedding by a friend of a colleague. The wedding party was held at an old farm in Norway, famous for being the former home of M. Munthe (a children’s book author). There was no one present at the wedding wearing black, and the picture was taken by one of the guests. The professional photographer had no ‘natural’ explanation for the ‘figure.’ He hadn’t seen any camera ‘glitch’ like it before, and they said no one else was standing where the figure is standing. So what do you think? Could this be something…real?”
The folks on Reddit have several theories to explain the figure in black ranging from slow shutter speed to the ghost of Margaret Munthe appearing to protest (or celebrate) the same-sex wedding. Check out the discussion here. What do you make of the pic?

Taken at the Wayne County Historical Museum in Richmond, IN, this photo reportedly shows a spirit sitting inside an old hearse. Is it truly a ghost or perhaps a reflection of some sort? (Story via Who Forted?)

This new ghost photo taken at the Skirrid Inn in Abergavenny Wales shows a blurred figure standing near the door. Here’s what the photographer had to say:
“All of us were upstairs and from the bar we heard a woman calling ‘Hello, hello, hello? Is anyone there?’ Not one of us thought that it was paranormal. We thought someone had got into the bar, and since we had the key and any damages would be on us, we all ran down the stairs. There was no one there, and the doors were locked as we’d left them.”
The Skirrid Mountain Inn is one of the oldest pubs in Wales with a history dating back over 900 years. It’s also reportedly haunted by a number of ghosts, including a former employee named Fanny.
