“Before I tell you about the most peculiar nights of my life, I thought I’d start off telling you about myself.

I am a rather unfaithful person. I do not believe in any religion, and even if I did, I would feel doubtful about it. The only thing I believe is that everything is explainable, if not by science then by something that relates to it. So I do not believe what I experienced in the September of 2009 was unexplainable, neither do I feel like I need to prove it wasn’t some hallucination or dream to you. In this story, I’ll be saying everything I thought and felt about this experience, and it’s going to be completely up to you whether you believe it or not.

Ghost Photo of the Day: The Figure in Black

Here’s a new pic from Reddit.com’s paranormal community. First, the background story:

“This photo was taken at a wedding by a friend of a colleague. The wedding party was held at an old farm in Norway, famous for being the former home of M. Munthe (a children’s book author). There was no one present at the wedding wearing black, and the picture was taken by one of the guests. The professional photographer had no ‘natural’ explanation for the ‘figure.’ He hadn’t seen any camera ‘glitch’ like it before, and they said no one else was standing where the figure is standing. So what do you think? Could this be something…real?”

The folks on Reddit have several theories to explain the figure in black ranging from slow shutter speed to the ghost of Margaret Munthe appearing to protest (or celebrate) the same-sex wedding. Check out the discussion here. What do you make of the pic?

Creepy Photo of the Day: The Face in the Window

A reader shared this creepy photo taken outside the Stord Maritime Museum in Norway. He writes:

“This photo was taken a night in August at 01:30 in the morning. This house is over 200 years old and is in the most haunted area of Stord Island.  Tears rolled down my face because it was so scary!

We took pictures of the same window three times and the picture looked different each time. However, in the second picture we caught the ghost in the right window. It looks like a skeletal face with a sixpence on his head.”
